The Family Legacy of Impression Products

Impression Products, Inc., a proudly family-owned business, was founded in 1978 in West Virginia by Walter Smith. Starting as a sales representative for Roytype, Walter ventured into his own business, selling typewriter ribbons in the Charleston area. This humble beginning in a 400 square foot apartment laid the groundwork for a company that would grow and evolve with the times.

The introduction of laser printers in the late '80s and early '90s marked a significant turning point. Walter's son, Eric, officially joined the company, bringing fresh ideas and expansion. Under Eric's guidance, Impression Products began offering brand-name laser toner cartridges and later, ventured into remanufacturing cartridges, balancing customer choice with environmental sustainability.

This core philosophy and dedication to quality have been a constant, with the team Eric assembled in the early '90s still contributing to the company's success. In the mid-'90s, the company further expanded to include on-site printer repair services, enhancing their service offerings.

Today, Impression Products, Inc. continues as a family-owned business, embodying over 40 years of commitment to quality products and services, maintaining a steadfast dedication to its clients and employees, including hospitals, offices, law firms, auto dealerships, and pharmacies. This legacy of innovation and customer focus positions Impression Products as a leader in the industry, continuing to grow and adapt in an ever-changing technological landscape.
